What is cropping?
Images created in the camera are at a 2:3 ratio (4x6 print). However, most common print sizes do not have a 2:3 ratio. When printed at different sizes, your photo will be cropped. How much depends on the size print you choose. When purchasing prints through Blue Kite Photography by Angie, great care is given to each photo to ensure that an aesthetically pleasing crop occurs to retain the composition of the photograph. I’ve included a visual guide to show you how different crops look on the same image.

What size should I order?
Choosing the right print size can be difficult. That’s why it is important to measure the space you plan on hanging your prints. Select a size that fills the space. Even an 11x14 or 16x20 can look very small on a large wall. Bigger is usually better!  Blue Kite Photography by Angie can assist in choosing the correct size prints for your wall space, as well as create beautiful wall displays for your home.
